Parents
We value the help and support that parents provide and aim to work in partnership with parents to achieve the best for all our pupils. We always welcome parents as readers and run workshops for those parents interested in helping the school in this way. We also welcome parents to accompany classes on school visits. Parents will receive notification of trips and requests for help from the class teacher. Where there are more offers for help than needed on a particular trip, parents will be placed on a rota.
If a parent wishes to speak to a teacher they are usually available in their classroom on Tuesdays to Thursdays from 8.15am – 8.45am before the children enter school and in the playground after dismissal. Teachers are not available whilst the children are in class. If you wish to make an appointment to see your child’s class teacher please telephone the school office.
Should you wish to make an appointment with either the Deputy Headteacher or the Headteacher this should be made with Mrs Baxter, the School Administration Officer. If you have any concerns regarding your child this should initially be discussed with their class teacher.
Please be aware that members of the Senior Leadership team also have teaching commitments so may not return your call immediately.
If you require a paper copy of any of the information on the school website, please ask the school office staff who will be happy to assist you.
