School Meals
Our School Meals are provided by 'THE PANTRY'.
All school meals are freshly cooked daily on site, by THE PANTRY staff.
We use The Pantry because:
- Meals are prepared with fresh local, seasonal and sustainable food, comprised of ethically and environmentally-friendly ingredients.
- High standard of food backed by The Soil Associations’ Food for Life Gold standard, ensuring all of The Pantry’s ingredients come from the very best sources. (This accreditation also guarantees that your children's meals are freshly cooked on the premises from raw ingredients.)
- Red Tractor meat served as standard.
- RSPCA assured eggs.
- Wider variety of meals and food choices offered each day.
- Continuous training and upskilling of catering staff to ensure food preparation is at high standards.

Ordering school meals via the Pantry's online ordering system?
The Pantry operate an online ordering system. All parents will be sent an activation code and log in to order meals on a daily, weekly, monthly or termly basis.

Free school meals, school clothing grants and healthy meal allowance
Free school meals and school clothing grants are available to families who receive certain benefits, this entitles students to a free school lunch and money to contribute towards school uniforms.
Schools also receive additional funding from the central government based on the number of students registered for free school meals (£1,320 per student for primary schools). This money funds valuable support like extra tuition, additional teaching staff or after school activities. We strongly encourage all families who think they may be eligible to apply for these benefits! It can make a huge difference!
Eligibility
Families may be eligible for free school meals and clothing grants if they receive the following benefits:
- Universal Credit with an annual net earned income of no more than £7,400
- income support
- income based jobseeker’s allowance
- income related employment and support allowance
- support under Part 6 of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
- the guarantee element of pension credit
- working tax credit run-on (paid for the four weeks after you stop qualifying for working tax credit)
- child tax credit (with no working tax credit) with an annual income of no more than £16,190
